Only employees who use smartphones or tablets can also receive push messages. Push messages cannot be received via a web browser.
The actual delivery of push messages takes place via the Google / Apple servers and, depending on the smartphone, delivery may be delayed or prevented. Causes for this are, for example, specific energy-saving options or energy-saving apps.
However, the most common issue is that consciously or unconsciously the push messages have been deactivated on your smartphone / receiving device or the messages have simply been overlooked / wiped away.
The affected employees can check via smartphone settings -> App LOLYO whether these have been deactivated (for Android "Notifications", for iPhone "Messages").
Push messages can only be delivered to smartphones. If employees have never logged in with a smartphone, or have already declined push authorization when first starting the app, then they will not appear in the list.
For example, if a chat window remains open on a PC or similar device, then no push notification will be sent to the smartphone. So if you use LOLYO in a web browser and additionally also on the smartphone, it is best to always close the web browser (or at least the tab opened with LOLYO) to reliably receive push messages on the smartphone.
If you are logged in to different smartphones with the same account, then a push will only be delivered to the last active device.
If a web browser with LOLYO is open on a PC, no badges will be delivered to the app icon, as these are/were already visible in the browser. For example, if you create a message yourself, it will no longer be displayed as a number on your own app icon. More details
