The Google Android app is available in the general Google Play Store - the Apple iOS app can be distributed in different ways:
Typically, the iOS version is made available as an "unlisted app" in the App Store. Alternatively, the app can be made available via the Apple Business Manager (the app is distributed in the background via iTunes using voucher codes). There are a total of 4 distribution options:
Advantage: You do not need to set up an account.
Disadvantage: When downloading the app, cycoders GmbH would be listed as the developer instead of your company, see screenshot:
Advantage: Your company would appear as a developer when downloading the app.
Disadvantage: Costs (maintenance/processing fee) on the part of Apple approx. 99 USD per year and you would have to set up this account. In addition, the person whose user (Apple ID) is the account holder must send the form for requesting this distribution channel to Apple - even an administrator as a user role has too few rights for this - You can find instructions for this form here.
Advantage: Free and you will be listed as a developer.
Disadvantage: You would have to set up this account, a separate ABM would have to be set up for each country.
Advantage: App is listed in the “usual” public App Store.
Disadvantage: In order for the app to be approved by Apple in the public App Store, it is necessary to create a wide range of public content/pages, as only apps that represent added value for the public are approved in this App Store. As a closed system, employee apps are not actually intended by Apple for the official App Store.
